Last week I had a Drs. appointment. I am now 32 weeks pregnant with our second little bundle of joy, and I couldn’t be more excited to meet her. It’s amazing to me how quickly this time has flown by. I suppose that since it’s been a busy few months, there were times I even forgot that March 9th was coming.
In December, I painted 10 new pieces- 3 commissioned works and 7 to fill the empty spots at my Baked show. I almost don’t know how it all happened. I remember in college that I hated the anxiety of waiting until the last minute, but somehow always surprised myself to see what I could accomplish in 24 hours.
In January, I have limited myself to 2 commissions and no other work. With my “free time” I will be installing an infant car seat and washing baby clothes, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
It will be a number of months before I am producing like I have been, but that’s ok. In the meantime, I’ll be soaking up the inspiration I get every day from our adventurous 2 year old son and looking forward to the giggles I’ll hear from Mia once she’s here.
Happy New Year!
